I went to see this show (La Petite Muerte) on its opening night @ The Drawers Gallery, which is situated in the basement of a nice little pub called The Haggerston, in, you guessed it, Haggerston. It was incredibly packed but I managed to see nearly all of the work on show. I didn’t feel that anything was particularly relevant to my work, except for a couple of pieces, loosely perhaps. One of these was a sim card set in some sort of clear resin, but was named ‘All the texts she ever sent me’ which I thought was a bit depressing because it made me think of relationship breakdowns and attempting to preserve somebody somehow, whereas my work is a lot more about the loss of memory. All work from the exhibition can be seen in the La Petite Muerte blog page.
Hi there. Merely desired to question an instant dilemma. kkdeecfgfbbg
